Quality of Petromax cast iron pots

Why is bread baked in cast-iron pans?

For real bread, we recommend a cast-iron pot (enamelled or not) and a lid. Only a pot with a lid will allow steam to build up at the start of the bread-making process and help the loaf to rise nicely.
