Palm wax BW007
Ingredients: Palm wax
Use: For making pillar candles (mould casting).
This wax is 100% plant-based. Known for its hardness and low oil content, it is ideal for producing pillar candles, naturally creating a distinctive feathering/crystallisation effect. It combines perfectly with dyes and fragrance oils, making it an excellent choice for luxury candles with a unique finish.
Palm wax offers excellent burning qualities. No additives are required – there is no need to blend with paraffin or other waxes.
- Do not overheat the wax, as this may affect its physical and chemical properties (maximum heating temperature: 90 °C).
- Melting point: approx. 60–66 °C
- Pouring temperature: ~85 °C
- Cooling: allow to cool at room temperature to achieve a smooth candle surface
- Recommended fragrance load: up to 10%
