Description

Natural Soy Wax for Pillar Candles (EU)

This soy wax is suitable for making freestanding, pillar candles using silicone, metal, or plastic molds. It has a firmer consistency compared to other waxes designed for container candles. For candle making, use dyes and fragrance oils.

Composition

Ingredients: Soy wax
INCI: Hydrogenated Soy Vegetable Oil
Country of origin: EU

Purpose

For making freestanding, decorative, pillar candles.

Production tips

  • If you notice a weak or unstable flame, try a different wick size. Test burning should be done at least 48 hours after the candle is made.
  • If the candle drips during testing, choose a smaller wick size.
  • Candle molds or containers should be clean. Use room-temperature molds, ideally preheated to 45°C, to ensure the wax distributes evenly and cools uniformly in the mold.
  • For a perfect candle, experiment with various wax dyes, fragrances, and wick types. Each component affects the burn quality differently.
  •  

Recommended temperature

  • Avoid overheating the wax to preserve its optimal physical and chemical properties (maximum heating temperature is 85°C). Overheating may cause cracks when removing the candles from molds. The candle’s quality and functionality will remain unchanged, but overheating can affect its aesthetic appearance.
  • Melting temperature: approximately 54-62°C.
  • Allow the candles to cool at room temperature, ideally around 25°C.
