Recommendations for candle making

Shorten the wick to the desired size before attaching it, as it can be difficult to make a wick that has become stiff in wax look nice. If you find that the wick gives off too much flame or the wax surface melts too quickly, choose a smaller wick size. Conversely, if you find that the flame is smouldering and there is no heat at all, it is worth trying a wider wick. Always do trial tests with different wick sizes to check that the candle burns evenly, matches the shape of your candle and dish size. And above all, don't forget to enjoy the process!

All wicks are 76.2 mm long and 15.9 mm wide. Fix the wooden wick with the metal holders specially designed for them. Metal wick holders sold separately.
