Semi-transparent Melt & Pour soap base for swirl techniques, SLS-free (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate). With the swirl technique you can create beautiful soap patterns, easily combine with various additives (dried plants, poppy seeds, coffee) and design colourful ornaments and effects. Once melted, this swirl base remains thick and does not fully liquefy, ensuring that additives do not sink to the bottom or rise to the surface but are evenly distributed throughout the soap. By using this base together with exfoliating additives you can easily create body scrubs. The soap base is unscented, making it ideal to combine with your preferred essential oils and fragrances.
Soap base pH: 9.5–10.5. Melting point: 50–65 ºC

⚠️ It is recommended not to heat the soap base above 72 ºC, otherwise the base may change its colour.

Using the soap base is very simple: you don’t need to create recipes, sodium hydroxide is not required, and you can easily add colours and fragrances. The curing time is much shorter than with traditional cold process soap – the soap can be used as soon as it has set.

How to make soap:

• Remove the soap base from the package and cut it into small cubes, this way the soap will melt evenly and quickly.
• Place the cubes into a container and melt over a double boiler (heat water in one pot and place another pot with the soap cubes on top). We recommend melting in a double boiler rather than direct heat to avoid overheating and discolouration. Do not exceed 72 ºC.
• Once fully melted, add your chosen fragrance, colour and other additives (dried herbs, poppy seeds, coffee). Stir gently and thoroughly so that the soap base combines evenly with the colours and scents and does not separate later.
• Pour the prepared soap into moulds and allow it to set completely. Once set, remove from the moulds and enjoy your handmade soap.
